Charltone Music is spearheaded by Hampton Roads, VA-based artist Charlton Phaneuf. He performs regularly solo- acoustic and collaborates with other musicians on occasion to form The Charltones Duo/Trio/etc. A vast history as an entertainer in many projects has granted him a wealth of experience and a diverse repertoire. Having started out as a drummer and evolving into a self-taught guitarist/ singer-songwriter, Charlton remains true to his craft, applying his own twist on cover songs and adding to an ever-growing list of unique originals. Incorporating the use of looping in live shows allows room for impromptu grooves and experimentation. He is honored to have shared the stage and/or opened shows for the likes of such artists as the late Col. Bruce Hampton, Derek Trucks, Anne McCue, Cy Curnin, Nick Harper, Corey Smith, Keller Williams & That One Guy
