Celebrate Mother’s Day Weekend on the Outer Banks! Honor Mom … enjoy great beaches, nature and history … run a race through The Nature Conservancy’s Nags Head Woods Ecological Preserve … enjoy great local restaurants — all on a beautiful, spring weekend! The fun begins at 7 with the Double! The traditional 5K race starts at 8. In between, there’s the Fun Run 1-Miler for kids of all ages. The 5K course for both races is an out-and-back course that covers gently rolling terrain on hard-packed dirt in the woods. Cheer for Mom as she competes for the Fastest Mom on the Beach trophy!
