Every Outer Banks vacation requires plenty of beach time and at Sanderling Resort you will always be within steps of the sand. Directly in front of the Resort, you'll set foot on a world-class beach, whose beautiful wide sandy area stretches north to south as far as the eye can see.
Golf is a great way to experience the unique Outer Banks terrain and coastal air. Sanderling guests enjoy playing privileges and a discount at The Currituck Club, a scenic Rees Jones designed course that stretches over 6,800 yards of diverse coastal landscape.

Go explore the area surrounding the Sanderling Resort on two wheels. On-site during season visit the Kitty Hawk Kiosk for adult and children's bikes and helmets. Our concierge can assist with off-site rentals out of season.

Hop in one of Corolla Outback's custom off-road vehicles and ride 20 miles through the Wild Horse Conservation Easement and other areas only accessible by Corolla. Private tours available. Tours last about two hours.

Sanderling Resort stands adjacent to this wild and natural landscape, and the 2.5 mile self-guided nature trail through a portion of the sanctuary bordering Currituck Sound is open to the public year-round.
